Generally, 1-2 computer room air conditioners or ordinary split air conditioners are installed in communication base stations and small aggregation equipment rooms. The air conditioners are placed directly on the side wall of the room, regardless of the direction of the cooling airflow of the cabinets. There is a nest flow in the cabinet channel, and high temperature alarms. Such phenomena occur from time to time, affecting the normal operation of the cabinet. The computer room is airtight, and the compressor operates uninterruptedly throughout the year for refrigeration, with high failure rate, large power consumption, and high operation and maintenance costs. Making full use of natural cold sources, reducing or canceling the running time of mechanical compressor air conditioners, reducing energy consumption, lowering PUE value, and reducing maintenance costs for air conditioner failures have become the main direction of energy-saving renovation of base stations and small computer rooms.

This project is an intelligent fresh air energy-saving system for a base station of China Unicom in Fujian, using 1 Aolan reeled fresh air unit and 1 exhaust fan. The intelligent fresh air system is operated in early spring, late autumn and winter, and the original compressor air-conditioning system is operated in summer and other high-temperature and high-humidity weather. The project was put into use in 2018. It can run for more than 3,000 hours a year, and the annual power saving rate can reach 28%.

This project is an intelligent fresh air energy-saving renovation system for a base station of China Unicom Inner Mongolia. It adopts an Aolan Reeled fresh air unit and an exhaust fan. The intelligent fresh air system is operated in spring, autumn and winter, and the original compressor is operated in high temperature and high humidity weather such as summer. Air conditioning system, the project will be put into use in 2020. It can run for more than 6,500 hours a year, and the annual power saving rate can reach 56%.
